As of 2023 we no longer handle full-home renovation services. We are still in the field offering light remodeling, small extensions and maintenance work.
Energy Retrofit Consulting
We have several residential projects in our portfolio as 'proof of concept' that energy retrofitting or implementing energy-saving products and process into your build/renovation will yield dramatic savings on heating and cooling expenses. The most important side-effect is a higher degree of comfort and health. We offer consulting calls or in-person meetings, and (for local clients) project-duration consulting and site-visit training/inspection.
Construction Inspection
The most frustrating aspect of the construction industry is finding out corners were cut once the project is complete and problems buried. We consistently find failures, often massive, caused by a small mistake, oversight or cut-corner. While framing is accessible, allowing a 3rd party inspection throughout the project duration is critical to a successful: safe and long-lasting outcome. We offer project based inspection packages for local (Long Island, NY) clients.
Staff Training
Many long-term & industry-standard "mistakes" are due to not reading instructions properly or not keeping up with advances in products & process. If you are an upper-end builder/remodeler or homeowner & prefer to stay at the cutting edge, then you or your staff require continual training. We do site-training and will work with you or your crew to do real-time, real-world training in proper, high-tech envelope enclosers; including water/air/vapor management products, rainscreens, window/door installation, thermal decoupling, sheathing product installation, air-sealing and siding prep.
